Book Review: "Crazy Like A Fox: The Definitive Chronicle of Brian Pillman 20 Years Later."

Brian Pillman remains one of wrestling’s greatest what-if stories, with fans wondering what would his life been like had he not died twenty-one years ago. In a world full of colorful characters and off-the-wall personalities, Pillman arguably was the poster child for everything good and bad about professional wrestling, epitomizing athleticism and charisma while also showing wrestling’s personal pitfalls.

Author Liam O’Rourke presents a well-written examination of Pillman’s life in the 2018 biography, Crazy Like A Fox: The Definitive Chronicle of Brian Pillman 20 Years Later. The book offers a comprehensive look at Pillman’s life, examining his formative years and the circumstances that led to his intense drive for success. However, could the book have provided more?
